TECHNICAL
MEETING INFORMATION
NISO Technical
Meetings are held twice a year, in January and August (actual
dates may vary). A prepared agenda is followed, a member presiding,
facilitator, and time keeper are present. ISO members meet first
for about two hours, then vendor members are welcome to join the
remainder of the meeting. Meeting duration is approximately 8 hours,
a lunch break, and two break periods. Dress is casual.
Most ISO members
send their technical people to these meetings, although some owners
are present also. This list of topics is general and may change,
many other items not listed are discussed though-out th e meetings.

Introduction
(ISO members only): Attending members introduce themselves,
the agenda outline is reviewed, presiding members are introduced
and the meeting format is described.
Suspect Defective
Parts: Parts that may be suspect defective are discussed.
Top 20 Parts
to Source: The most needed parts ISO members would like produced.

Open Discussion:
In an open forum any questions and ideas may be discussed.
Vendor Score
Cards Results (January Meeting): The results of the score cards
are discussed. Members have an open discussion on any questions
raised by the results of the score card.
"Vendor
Awards" (Presented at the January meeting only): ISO members
complete the vendor score cards and the information is complied.
The highest scoring vendors are presented with a wall plaque and
certificate recognizing them for excellence in products and services.
