CODE OF ETHICS
We, the members
of the National Independent Service Organization (NISO), do hereby
pledge: To offer our customers true value and dependable service
in each and every transaction; to maintain high standards in our
relationships with our employees, customers, and suppliers. To encourage
our employees that the importance of improving their development
and advancement in technical and customer skills, insures continuing
industry value.
To promote the
independent service industry of High-speed copiers and laser equipment,
striving always for improvement in the services we offer to customers
and other business persons.
To keep informed
of industry laws and regulations relating to our business, and to
do anything and everything within the limits of the law to cooperate
in their enforcement. We shall also interest ourselves in legislation
(both existing and proposed) affecting our industry, insuring that
justice, fairness, and the American Way shall prevail, and that
the best interests of our industry, customers, and suppliers be
protected.
To extend the
same or better courtesies and considerations to our suppliers, which
we would like to receive from our customers.
To maintain
and strive towards friendly and cooperative relationships with other
businesses, and by example, lead to higher standards in our industry.
To pursue no
unethical tactics in our diligent quest of business, striving to
keep industry standards at the highest level possible.
