About NISO

NISO is a non-profit corporation, dedicated to the advancement of independent service organizations which sell and service high speed copiers and lasers. NISO believes combining resources and knowledge can provide the ISO with powerful tools needed in the high volume industry. Below is a partial list of benefits of being a NISO member.

Memberships: There are two types of membership, ISO and Vendor. Please consult your membership application for the requirements and privileges of each type member.

Meetings: Owner and Technical meetings are held twice a year, January and August (exact dates may vary). Members are kept up-to-date on time and place of the meetings. General topics at meetings may include: Marketing information (O.E.M. and ISO), most needed parts, new parts developed, technical tips, equipment rebuild information, and more. The "NISO Vendor Awards" are presented at the January meeting.

Post Meeting Follow-up Notes: Recap of meetings, including: Attendance list, decisions made, technical meeting notes.

Technical Hot Line Fax: The NISO parts committee was created in order for the members to have a clearing house of information pertaining to parts, tech tips, and as sociated information. The committee verifies member input with the appropriate source and informs total membership of the results via fax.

NISO Update: A periodic publication informing members of NISO's current progress, industry news, vendor information, new member list, and more.

NISO NET: A bulletin board system for information sharing such as: New parts available from NISO vendors, technical tips by machine model, NISO information, marketing information, and more.

Parts Support: Members help each other. When a member is in need of a part or technical support, other members will assist whenever possible.

Vendor Members: Several vendors are NISO members and have joined in order to further their ongoing efforts to support ISO's and their ever changing industry needs. Members are encouraged to support vendor members whenever possible.
